The Walking Dead Starburst Relaunch Cover

I’ve recently been fortunate enough to find myself working for the great Starburst Magazine. For those not in the know Starburst was a magazine that ran in the UK for the best part of thirty years from the late 70’s to the late 00’s. The magazine is about to be relaunched (14th February 2012) and this is my cover for the relaunch issue.

This one took a while to do and, if you haven’t already guessed, is based on the hit TV series The Walking Dead. I have to admit I had an awful lot of fun doing the zombies on this. So great to draw mashed up people.

If anyone fancies a print of this cover you can get a free one by placing a subscription for either a 6 or 12 month subscription for the magazine before January 14th 2012. The launch issue above will be making its debut in all good newsagents on 14th February 2012.

Another one of my Gary Numan toons is currently up for auction on Ebay to raise money for Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action. This toon also features Ade Fenton.
